City of Sun Prairie
The Lettuce Dream Garden at Vandenburg Heights Park opened in 2021 and has been utilized as a learning garden for the Vandenburg Heights and CH Bird Elementary communities. In addition to teaching children and adults about backyard gardening, Lettuce Dream has also provided fresh produce and fresh cut flowers to hundreds of families in the two years of its existence. The garden is ran primarily by volunteers and is in need of individuals to serve in a multitude of roles to keep the garden running smoothly from April through October each year. PLEASE READ: If you cannot work a full scheduled shift - no worries! Please still sign up and add to the comments the times in which you will be at the garden.
