SPPRF is seeking individuals to assist with set up, ID'ing, serving beverages, and take down at our 2026 events that sell beer. Volunteering at the Museum provides a unique opportunity to be a part of the inner operations of a museum, work with one-of-a-kind artifacts, learn about Sun Prairie, and help people appreciate history. The Museum offers something for everyone! If you like to engage with people, consider serving as a docent or event volunteer to greet visitors and guide them through Museum exhibits or programs. If you enjoy sharing your creative talents, join our Museum Exhibit Team to design and build educational displays. Those that prefer quieter, individual work can help with ongoing inventory and collections care initiatives or be "on call" to help with research requests. We look forward to engaging with your interests and exploring how you might contribute to great things happening at the Museum! Join Sun Prairie Park Friends on various environmental stewardship events in city parks in 2026! All equipment and training provided by SPPF. Dress for the weather (wear layers!) and bring your water bottle & work gloves! 3rd Saturday of every month! 1/17/26 - 10AM - 12PM: Smith's Crossing Woods - Invasive Shrubs 2/17/26 - 10AM - 12PM: Smith's Crossing Woods - Invasive Shrubs 3/21/26 - 10AM - 12PM: Smith's Crossing Woods - Invasive Shrubs For Smith's Crossing, meet at the large park shelter at 1221 O'Keeffe Ave.

We are seeking parent/guardians to lead our youth soccer and baseball programs, under the support and guidance of the PRF Department. We are looking for parent volunteers to conduct practices and coach players during games. No experience is necessary. Volunteers help make our youth sports programs successful. Team Assignments: Players will be randomly assigned to teams with volunteer coaches. We will ensure all parent volunteers are with their child. Team sizes will vary based on enrollment. Coach's Meeting: There will be a 45-minute meeting for all coaches prior to the start of a program session held at the Westside Community Services Building. Volunteer Coach meeting date TO BE ANNOUNCED.
